Jim Forhan is an international services partner in the Chicago office with more than 30 years of experience. He previously served as the Midwest Area Partner in Charge of the International Corporate Services Practice.    

Jim's current focus as an international partner is on assisting multinational organizations in dealing with the tax implications of their global operations. This includes planning to most effectively manage the overall effective tax rate and coordinating the provision of worldwide KPMG services. 

He has also been involved in a variety of significant tax provision review, Sarbanes-Oxley (S-O) section 404 and FIN 48 engagements. Jim has also led KPMG's efforts within the international corporate tax practice on evaluating the impacts of a conversion to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) by a U.S. company from an international tax perspective.
