John Suttora
Partner, Washington National Tax, KPMG LLP
John Suttora has been practicing in public accounting for over twelve years, in addition to having spent two years in private industry.
John joined KPMG in June 1999 and his client experience includes serving as an adviser to a variety of retailers in connection with a broad range of issues, including the retail inventory method. John also co-led KPMG's efforts within the accounting methods area on evaluating the impacts of conversion to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) by a U.S. company.
John brings an extensive knowledge of deferral of income and acceleration of expenses to his role as a partner in the Accounting Methods Practice. His primary responsibilities include advising clients and KPMG professionals on matters of income and expense recognition, inventory accounting, capitalized items, and depreciation and amortization.
