National Practice Leader-IFRS, KPMG Canada

Douglas Reid is an audit partner in KPMG Canada's National Office in Toronto. He has been responsible for the Canadian firm's International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) practice since September 2008. Doug is also a Client Service Partner with experience in the resource and manufacturing sectors.

Prior to his appointment to National Office, Doug was the Area Managing Partner for KPMG's practice in Atlantic Canada, and was based in Halifax. In addition to his management responsibilities, he served as an Audit Engagement Partner to some of the area's largest public and private companies.

Doug is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, and a graduate of School of Business of Dalhousie University.
