Dr. Christoph Hütten is Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at SAP AG, Walldorf (Germany).

Christoph is responsible for SAP’s financial reporting under US GAAP and IFRS including related SEC reporting and all accounting policies, as well as certain corporate governance topics. He has been with the Company since 1999 when he joined SAP as assistant to the CFO. Before his current role as Chief Accounting Officer, which Christoph assumed in 2003, he was Head of Corporate Finance.

Prior to SAP, Christoph was research associate at the Institute of Financial Accounting of Saarland University.

Christoph serves as a member of the German Accounting Standards Board, member of the IASB´s Standards Advisory Council (SAC) and chairman of the Financial Reporting Committee of Schmalenbach Society for Management. He is visiting lecturer at the Department of Accounting and Control of Augsburg University and author of numerous academic articles on the subject of national and international financial reporting.

Christoph gained a doctor’s degree in Business Administration after receiving degrees in Business Administration from Saarland University and Accountancy from the University of Dundee, Scotland.
