Ed is a partner with 20 years of experience serving the insurance industry, both property casualty and life. He serves as both an SEC Reviewing Partner and IFRS Reviewing Partner and works with engagement teams on filing issues, SEC Matters, and IFRS financial statements.

Prior to his current assignments, Ed spent two years in KPMG's Department of Professional Practice in New York. His areas of focus while in the department included insurance, International Financial Reporting Standards, compensation & benefits, and derivatives. Over the years, he has participated in numerous insurance company mergers, acquisitions, initial public offerings, and spin-offs, both domestic and international.

Ed has served as a speaker or panelist on auditing and accounting matters at programs held by various industry organizations and universities, including the International Association of Insurance Supervisors, the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association, the American Academy of Actuaries, Mealey's Litigation Conferences, the Eastern Association of College and University Business Officers, and the University of Connecticut. In addition, he is the coordinator for KPMG's Global Insurance Institute at Wharton.
 
Ed received a Bachelor of Economics degree from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
