KPMG U.S. Sector Leader for Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals

Ed is KPMG's Global Sector Head for Pharmaceuticals. In addition, he serves as the U.S. Sector Leader for both Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals. Ed also leads KPMG's Public Policy Business Initiatives for the Healthcare Industry. He has 30 years of experience working with organizations across all sectors of the healthcare industry serving in an audit and advisory role to clients ranging from not-for-profit, tax-exempt healthcare providers to major managed care plans to large, multinational, publicly held pharmaceutical companies.

He is a frequent presenter on industry emerging trends and challenges and is co-author of ValueRx: How to Make the Most Of Your Organization's Assets and Relationships published by Harper Business.

Ed serves as the Lead Industry Partner on MedStar Health and Bon Secours Health System, Inc. and also serves as the Industry Account Executive for many of the leading healthcare clients in the United States, including Kaiser Hospitals and Health Plans, Summa Health, CareGroup, Duke University Health System, and OSI Pharmaceuticals. He works closely with many of our most significant global pharmaceutical clients including Abbott Laboratories and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Ed serves on the National Board of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) as well as the AHA's Health Forum. He is active with the National Quality Forum, Health Management Academy, and American Hospital Association, among other industry organizations.

Ed received a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
