Hamza Jahangir

Hamza Jahangir is Practice Director, Enterprise Architecture, Oracle Public Sector. He is a certified Oracle Enterprise Architect with over 12 years of experience in IT developing, managing and innovating around IT architectures and implementations, including over 6 years at Oracle. Hamza is one of the original authors and practitioners of Oracle Enterprise Architecture Framework (OEAF) and Oracle Architecture Development Process (OADP). In his current capacity, Hamza helps drive the OEA program within Oracle and with C-level customer executives to define the future state of IT that best supports the future of the business. He is also a certified TOGAF practitioner.

Hamza spends a considerable amount of time and energy in developing and providing thought-leadership on how to transform today’s information architectures to support new and emerging trends like Cloud Computing, Web 2.0 and Unstructured Data Management. Hamza is the author "Applied Oracle Security", the first end-to-end security architecture book from Oracle.

Hamza has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
