Partner, IT Advisory Services, KPMG LLP

Heather is a Partner in the IT Advisory Services Practice of KPMG LLP. She has more than twenty years of information technology experience, focusing on assessing the information systems impacts of IFRS implementations, architecting information security programs, establishing business continuity management programs, and assessing and designing risk and controls. Heather has a strong aptitude for project management with experience managing complex, large-scale technology service projects.

As the National IFRS Leader for IT Advisory Services, Heather works closely with the regional IFRS Conversion teams and is responsible for coordinating the IFRS efforts of IT Professionals. Heather has participated in a number of client awareness meetings to discuss the IT impact of potential accounting changes and is currently leading a Midwest team through the IT impacts of an IFRS conversion. She is coordinating IT resources to support the enhancement of KPMGs Global Conversion Methodology.

Heather has performed information systems assessments of the effects of implementing IFRS for the firm's advisory clients, including clients with SAP, PeopleSoft, and in-house developed systems. She has created detailed gap analyses regarding the need for changes to the chart of accounts, new data requirements, and system requirements.
