Senior Manager, Department of Professional Practice, KPMG LLP

Jason Wendel is a senior manager in KPMG's Department of Professional Practice (DPP). 

His responsibilities include developing the firm's accounting literature and publications that address accounting decisions made by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) or similar bodies. Jason also consults with engagement teams on accounting and financial reporting matters.

Prior to joining DPP, Jason served in KPMG's Salt Lake City audit practice, where he focused on auditing consumer product clients.

Jason holds a bachelor degree in accountancy and MBA from Utah State University. He is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Utah and New York, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
