Sheri Anderson

Senior Manager, Department of Professional Practice

Sheri is currently a senior manager in KPMG's Department of Professional Practice (DPP) in New York City.  She has over fourteen years of experience serving primarily public, multinational and multi-location clients in the consumer and industrial markets.  Prior to  joining KPMG in St. Louis in 2002, Sheri spent eight years of her career with Arthur Anderson in Washington, D.C. and St. Louis.  She then worked as a senior manager in the   U.S.GAAP/IFRS group in Dusseldorf, Germany from 2003 until  joining the KPMG DPP group in 2007.

Sheri's experience includes coordinating internal and external audit efforts to ensure appropriate coverage of the respective entities operations and to maximize the audit efforts.  She has performed technical accounting analysis and advised clients on various complex accounting matters including local GAAP to US GAAP reconciliations, IFRS to U.S. GAAP differences, restructuring activities, revenue recognition, asset impairment and acquisition accounting.

Additionally, as part of her responsibility in DPP, Sheri has been involved in the development of publications distributed by the department, including KPMG's Defining Issues.  Also, Sheri participates in the delivery of many internal training programs including Baseline IFRS, Updates on IFRS and other partner and manager training and external presentations primarily related to IFRS matters.
