The objective of this publication is to help our clients in their understanding of the financial statements of companies in the technology sector that are prepared in accordance with IFRSs. It is based on the consolidated financial statements of 24 companies from eight countries.
The focus of this publication is to provide an understanding of the approaches taken by technology companies in dealing with some industry-specific accounting issues. It also illustrates disclosures these companies made in their consolidated financial statements that KPMG International Standards Group believes are useful in assessing the type of information being disclosed.
