With cities around the globe expected to experience significant growth over coming decades, it is more important than ever that the transport infrastructure underpinning them be delivered successfully and sustainably. This white paper discusses six factors by assessing their influence in 19 case studies. The six key factors explored are: project planning, technical expertise, procurement and financing, operational organization, political control, and sponsorship.
